Episode 73 - Interview: Behind The Scenes with Lisa Ball, Entertainment Director on the Ruby Princess

Welcome to episode #73!

Hey there cruisers! We have for you a special show for you today. We had the wonderful opportunity to interview Lisa Ball, the Entertainment Director on the Ruby Princess while on our Alaskan cruise last week.

On this interview, we get to go "behind the scenes" with Lisa and learn about this new career position that Princess opened to help the cruise director with the "back of the house" details to help make everything go smoothly. Lisa shares about her history with Princess Cruises, the details about the North To Alaska summer cruise promotion, what it takes to be part of the entertainment cast of a cruise ship and so much more!

Also check out this video that we mentioned in our interview, about the making of Stephen Schwartz's musical and magical stage show production, Magic To Do!

Finally, please continue to share us with your family and friends - it really helps to expand and grow our show through word of mouth and the various social media outlets we use. We appreciate you - you are the best!

Happy Cruising!

Episode #55 - Entertainment on the Ruby Princess

Welcome to episode #55!

Happy February Cruisers!

On this new show we have little bit of cruise news, then we dig deep into our show topic, Entertainment on the Ruby Princess. There are a lot of entertainment options and experiences on this ship and we tried our best to check as many out as we could and are reporting back to you on this episode. Princess has made a lot of changes and expanded their entertainment offerings recently. The most impressive is their new production, Magic To Do by Broadway Musical Composer Stephen Schwartz. This new musical is a must see if you cruise on this ship and we can't wait to see it again in June on our Alaskan cruise.

Also on this show, we were privileged to interview the lead performer of Magic To Do, Emily Maixner! She shares all about how she got started in acting and singing and the intense audition process she went through, the long rehearsals and what it is like to perform on a cruise ship. This was such a fun interview and we hope you will enjoy it!

You can follow Emily and her cruise ship adventures on her blog here:
