(No really, really it is episode 87 even though I said it was 86 about a minute into the show. Mistakes happen. Bummer, sorry about that! ^Tommy) 

We have a unique podcast episode for you - actually, we are calling it a "lunchcast" because we recorded it over lunch at Fatburger. We prerecorded somethings and mixed it all together and voila! a podcast episode was born! 

Scott has some breaking news about Carnival's Long Beach port expansion plans.  We also have a conversation with our friend Connie Moreno who just got back from a four day cruise on the Carnival Inspiration. She shares some great tips about her experiences in Catalina and Ensenada.

Episode #85 - Scott’s Cruise Report: Carnival Imagination Fun Ship 2.0 and Inside Scoops!

Welcome to episode #85!

Scott just got back from his cruise on the Carnival Imagination. The ship just finished it's dry dock refurbishment and had some upgrades and new features added. Scott shares with us some "inside scoops" he got that are not quite well known too!  From the Chef's Table to the water slides, Scott was busy trying, tasting and testing everything.

Also Scott has already uploaded fresh new videos - they are just awesome. He and Pam got some amazing video from their parasailing adventure on Catalina Island. They even circled the cruise ship for some breathtaking views of the island and the luxury liner. Be sure to take some time to see these fun videos. It will want you to book that Carnival Cruise!

Episode #82 - Mini Show: Seven Things You Must Do In Santa Barbara!

Welcome to episode #82!

We are back - well, sort of back. Scott has been busy working in Big Bear, California and Tommy went to Walt Disney World in Florida for a few days to surprise a few of his Disney podcasting friends for a meet up and fun in the theme parks and eating, of course! Tommy has to go out of town for business this week, but we will be back together recording new shows for you starting next week. 

However, the show must go on!

On this new show, we have a surprise for you! Tommy and his wife drove up this last weekend to Santa Barbara to meet Sheri from CruiseTipsTV for the first time! We had wonderful time with her and her mom over lunch, shopping along State Street, the beach and the wharf. It was a beautiful California day, perfect weather, sunny and warm. 

We took time this past weekend to record together for you a special mini show, Seven Things You Must Do in Santa Barbara on location, live, outside of a small coffee shop on State Street. It was a lot of fun and Sheri has some wonderful tips and secrets how you can have some great times, inexpensive things to see and do while visiting this amazing port stop on your next California Coastal cruise.

We felt that this was an important topic to cover because, sadly, there have been pool incidents on cruise ships. Amanda has some new information for us that the cruise lines are now being more proactive about pool safety and that includes the hiring of lifeguards. Scott, who is a certified lifeguard, also shares his thoughts and provides some tips about pool safety as well. In the coming months, we feel that you can expect a lot of changes are going to be made and the cruise lines will be more adamant watching over their pools.
