Episode #102 - Dress Codes and Lifeguards

Welcome to episode #102!

One of the hottest topics on cruise message boards are cruise ship dress code guidelines for the main dining room. It seems that every cruiser has an opinion about the tradition, what constitutes "formal" wear, and a myriad other thoughts about the subject. On this new episode, we discuss Royal Caribbean's new guidelines and how they were received by cruise enthusiasts. It is definitely a hot button among cruisers and I am sure we just scratched the surface. What are your thoughts? Let us know by email or call our voice mail line and we will share it on a upcoming show.

Also on this show we are glad to have back Amanda from GetALifeAtSea.com to share with us an update on Royal Caribbean's lifeguard program rolling out fleetwide.

Plus we have cruise news, theme cruise of the week and some cruise ranting! We hope you enjoy this episode - we had a lot of fun producing it.

Episode 59: Cruise Ship Pool Safety, Lifeguards, with Amanda from Get a Life at Sea

Welcome to episode #59!

On this week's show, we discuss pool safety, lifeguards with Amanda from Get a Life at Sea. We felt that this was an important topic to cover because, sadly, there have been pool incidents on cruise ships. Amanda has some new information for us that the cruise lines are now being more proactive about pool safety and that includes the hiring of lifeguards. Scott, who is a certified lifeguard, also shares his thoughts and provides some tips about pool safety as well. In the coming months, we feel that you can expect a lot of changes are going to be made and the cruise lines will be more adamant watching over their pools.

You can reach Amanda here:

Also on this show, we share some cruise news, theme cruise of the week and Scott's attempt of being a comedian. (Guess who is writing the show notes?)
